Role Description

As an ALDI Produce and Fresh Stocker, you manage the presentation, freshness, and cold-chain integrity of our highest-visibility store departments: fresh produce, organic items, meats, and dairy cases. You receive daily agricultural freight, inspect product quality upon dock arrival, build appealing displays, and cull past-peak items continuously. This role combines physical stocking with a passion for food quality and visual merchandising. This position is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence inside the store (zero remote availability).

Key Responsibilities

• Unload daily fresh produce, meat, and dairy shipments, inspecting truck temperature logs and product quality.
• Restock produce display tables, refrigerated wall cases, and dairy cases according to merchandising guidelines.
• Cull damaged, bruised, or expired fresh goods continuously to ensure top-quality presentation.
• Audit cold-storage and display case temperatures regularly, logging readings into food safety databases.
• Execute strict FIFO rotation across all perishable departments to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
• Maintain clean, hydrated produce displays, sanitizing misting equipment and sales floor fixtures.
• Assist shoppers courteous with produce selection and general store inquiries.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Physical capability for continuous lifting (up to 45 lbs), bending, standing, and working in cold cooler sections.
• Strong attention to detail regarding food safety, expiration dates, and visual presentation.
• Reliability, teamwork, and strong time-management skills.

Job Type & Schedule

• Job Type: Full-Time (100% On-Site).
• Schedule: Flexible schedules including early mornings, days, weekends, and holidays based on fresh truck deliveries.
